Artist Huang TZU-CHIAO was found by prosecutors to be a senior member of the candid photography forum “Creative Private Room” and possess 2,259 sexual images of minors. The High Court held a hearing yesterday (26th) afternoon. Huang TZU-CHIAO appeared again wearing the same blue shirt, sparking discussion among netizens. In this regard, Wang Po-Chi, an associate professor of the Department of Criminal Justice at Ming Chuan University speculated that perhaps Huang TZU-CHIAO felt that this dress was his lucky dress, and he hoped that he would have good results every time he went to court after wearing it.
Huang TZU-CHIAO was involved in the MeToo incident in 2023 and was accused of forcibly kissing underage girls, forcibly taking nude photos, and even being sued for sexual assault. Unexpectedly, during the investigation process, the prosecutor accidentally discovered that he possessed 2,259 sexual images of minors, and was also a senior member of the candid photography forum “Creative Private Room”. For the possession of sexual images, Huang TZU-CHIAO was sentenced to 8 months in prison by the court at the end of 2024, but the prosecutor believed that the sentence was too light and decided to appeal.
The High Court heard the case at 2:30 pm on the 26th. Huang TZU-CHIAO appeared again wearing the same blue shirt. He did not respond to questions from the media. After about 50 minutes of the hearing, when he walked out of the court, he bowed deeply to the media cameras for 5 seconds and then left the scene.
It is understood that Huang TZU-CHIAO only partially confessed in this court session and requested that the sentence be changed to a fine of Yike. However, he did not agree to the victim’s request to apologize and to spend 20 million yuan to establish a related foundation to curb the spread of minor sexual images.
In addition, because Huang Zijiao wore the same blue shirt in six court sessions, just like Xia Man in the 500 million high school student case, he wore the same dress every time he appeared in court, which unexpectedly aroused discussion among netizens. According to the China Times News Network, Wang Po-Chi, an associate professor of the Department of Criminal Justice
at Ming Chuan University speculated that perhaps Huang Zijiao felt that this dress was his lucky dress, and he hoped that he would have good results every time he appeared in court after wearing it.
