Insiders revealed that it has long been an open secret in the entertainment industry that students in the entertainment industry have used university graduation deferrals to delay military conscription.

Xiu Jie Kai was still studying at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology at the age of 31 and served in alternative military service at the age of 33. The most well-known is Ming Dao, who changed 5 schools in 11 years and served in alternative military service at the age of 32.
The Ministry of the Interior has also passed the “Mingdao Clause”, which sets the upper age limit for deferred recruitment for “continuing schools” below colleges at 28 years old. The Military Service Law stipulates that the deferral period for male conscripts for further studies is 33 years old. Wang Dalu’s deferral period expired this year, and he still has three years before retirement age. Seeing that deferring graduation was of no use, he spent millions to forge his medical records. It is understood that most members of the Shanbing Group evaded military service by claiming abnormal blood pressure. Some doctors suspected that the relevant units might have been letting people off the hook.
Dr. Lin Weiwen, a cardiologist at Taiwan Adventist Hospital, said: “It is actually quite difficult to diagnose high blood pressure because blood pressure fluctuates depending on the external environment, stress, emotions, or possible physical illnesses, or even certain medications you take.”
Chen Yanyuan, medical secretary and spokesperson for National Taiwan University Hospital: “If the prosecutors and investigators have a relevant case or want to conduct a related investigation, we at National Taiwan University Hospital will fully cooperate.”
The prosecutors and investigators will continue to investigate whether there are any medical professionals involved in the case. The decline in popularity after joining the army has become a nightmare for male stars. The delaying tactic has been in place for years, forming a series of black industrial chains. From the entertainment industry to the medical community, the turmoil is intensifying.
