In the Kaohsiung serial murder and dismemberment case, only some remains have been found so far. Forensic doctor KAO,TA-CHENG analyzed that the suspect surnamed Zhang probably buried other remains in the grass. KAO,TA-CHENG also pointed out the motive for the murder, and the high probability was that it was murder for money. However, some criminal psychologists believe that it may be related to emotions and antisocial tendencies. It cannot be ruled out that there are other undiscovered victims.

In the horrific serial murder case in Kaohsiung, only part of the remains of Mrs. Zhao Lin, who was killed by a suspect named Zhang, were found. Forensic doctor KAO,TA-CHENG believes that the bodies of two other murdered women were also dumped at the same location.

Forensic doctor KAO,TA-CHENG: “Maybe it was a money dispute. His eldest brother died with property and he was angry because he was not given any. Thinking this way, it is possible. It should have been because of money from beginning to end. I am looking for an older woman, someone who has savings. She has saved some money, so I will contact you.”

Forensic analysis is for money, but in the eyes of scholars, it is believed that the serial murders of the suspect surnamed Zhang are related to personality traits.

Wang Po-Chi , associate professor of the Department of Criminal Justice at Ming Chuan University: “This may be an issue related to feelings. (The suspect surnamed Zhang) had some criminal records when he was a soldier. In fact, he probably couldn’t abide by social norms. After dismembering the victim, he threw it to the river or ditch. He also went to see if there were any fish to eat. He has some anti-social tendencies, and may also be suspected of manipulating others. It seems that he is mentally ill.”

Forensic doctor KAO,TA-CHENG: “Why did you commit the crime recently? This is a problem. It may have been there before, but it was just not discovered. So he must not admit it. He is in his 70s, and he was in his 80s when he was released.”

Whether these three women were murdered ruthlessly or whether there were more innocent victims remains to be investigated. All sectors of society just hope that the victim can be redressed.
