On June 15th and 16th, 2026, Professor Tai, Shih-Mei led undergraduate students taking the “Introduction to Judicial Social Work” course and master’s students taking the “Special Research on Judicial Social Work” course to two field trips: the Taipei Minors’ Meeting Center – Tongxinyuan and the Taipei District Court’s Xindian Office Building.

On the afternoon of June 15th (Monday), undergraduate students participated in group activities at Tongxinyuan, trying out a newly developed courtroom parenting game, experiencing a profound cultural challenge and gaining a deeper understanding that human rights cannot be merely a slogan.
On the morning of June 16th (Tuesday), graduate students attended a briefing at the Taipei District Court’s Juvenile and Family Court conference room, where they learned about the Modern Women’s Foundation’s use of case-group-community work methods in court services. They also visited the court’s social work service area, experiencing how “tree holes” and playing cards serve as innovative value-added services for women and children in judicial settings.
