Core Competencies



All of our programs integrate the knowledge-based professions of Criminal Justice, Security Management, and Judicial Social Work to enable students to cultivate the following Core Competencies:

Undergraduate Program Security management expertise, emergency management, planning and coordinating ability, capacity for well-rounded development.
Master's Program The ability to research crime and security issues, the skills to improve risk identification, the capability to strengthen crisis management skills.
Work-experience Master's Program The ability to research cross-strait relations changes and development, the skills to gather situational information on cross-strait relations, the capacity to strengthen crisis management skills, the capacity of project management and risk assessment.

Through learning and curriculum design, graduates who complete our department courses can meet the actual needs of the current security management industry and can be smoothly placed in industry workplaces. This is our "seamless" education target, that our graduates have sufficient market competitiveness, regardless of their future choice to continue their studies or enter employment.
